Sustainability is central to ESF鈥檚 mission of providing unique and impactful teaching, research, engagement, and action-oriented programs that foster sustainable communities and environments.
Through the College鈥檚 Office of Sustainability, students practice classroom learning and all members of the campus community are empowered to take individual and collective action to help reduce the institution鈥檚 operational footprint to enhance natural and social environments on campus and beyond.

Land Acknowledgment
糖心视频鈥檚 Syracuse campus is in the ancestral lands of the Onondaga Nation, the center of the Six Nations of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. The College鈥檚 other campuses are located within the ancestral lands of the larger Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We honor the Confederacy for its many contributions, including the original philosophy and practice of environmental stewardship.
